Match notes
A day for blood bowl and blood it was. This was indeed a match-up the fans had waited for and with the games Blue Bay Rollers - Ferocious Furries (Season 3, round 5) and Ferocious Furries - Blue Bay Rollers (Season 2, round 2) in memory the hopes were high for a Furry revanche and naturally it was a new season record in attending fans that gave the visiting Furries the edge for the game. The home team won the coin toss though and as the bloodthirsty Orcs they are they chose to start as offence, fielding hired star Ulgrot Bolgrot with the hope of decimating the lightly armoured Norse with the help of his chainsaw. The Green-skinned Rollers did not expect the blitz that came though that left them totally off guard. The rollers quickly got the ball and tried to cage it up around the centre field but chocked over the quick offence of the Norse they left Karg locked in from all sides except for one tiny hole that Yuri took advantage of and smashed him to the ground leaving the ball completely open for Gregorij to pick up and run for the Rollers home field with only Tokk able to reach him. The rollers came charging homewards trying to prevent the inevitable when Gregorij took the few steps over the goal line ending the drive in turn 2 making Ulgrot Bolgrots visit a short one.

With the Furries in lead the Rollers started up again more determined and spent the rest of the half beating down their opponents with the ball safely in Tokks safe hands, locking out even the massively agile Nina from reaching him. In the last second the rollers only one man short safely walked over the goal line leaving one turn left for the Furries to do some harm but without the well needed strength of Nina, Ivan and Josef and on that the Rollers perfect defence ended their attempt to weaken the Orc ranks with no damage done. The rollers short of Khruudaszh gave last games MVP Kraal a chance to start second half on the field with the direct order from their coach to "kick them when they are down".

The rollers started second half with a full team and the Furries only one man short after the Furrie guard line man laying knocked out could not get to his feet even though the rumour in the Blue Bay press states that he feared the stronger orcs without his troll and Ulfwerener team mates to hide behind.

Second half was quite one sided with the Orcs bashing the Norse to pieces. They Furries made a few attempt to break through but the Orcs stopped them hard and took control of the ball, hurling it up-field out of reach for the Furries before the Rollers reached it and forcing the the falling number of Norse players behind them as they marched onwards.
The Furries futile attempts to stop the green horde failed completely and they were forced in to the green bashing net and when the Rollers line Kraal put the boot to Alexis with the help of seven team mates, praising him with his third niggling injury the game started to look finished and the Roller fans roared as he was sent off by the ref whom mysteriously was found the morning after impaled on top of the roof of Blue Bay Stadium. The Norse desperately got to their feet but only managed to get up with Lezek until a failed dodge ended their turn. The Rollers reacted harshly and Vaak seriously hurt Lezek completely crushed the Furries morale with their two remaining players still on their backs begging for mercy. The orcs just laughed walked away, knowing their might and Vraank firmly put an end to the game leaving the Rollers with another win leaving the Furrie-Roller history:
Ferocious Furries - Blue Bay Rollers 0-2 1-1 (0-0)
Blue Bay Rollers - Ferocious Furries 1-1 4-2 (1-1)
Blue Bay Rollers - Ferocious Furries 2-1 6-1 (0-0)

This win Took the casualty lead from the Furries and gave it to the Rollers leaving the top two casualty teams :
The Blue Bay Rollers 17-2 (+15) and the Ferocious Furries 15-13 (-2)
Worth noting is that before this game the score was:
The Blue Bay Rollers 11-1 (+10) and the Ferocious Furries 14-7 (+7)

This looks good for the rollers whom in their next game faces Arrogant Amphibians in the game Blue Bay Rollers - Arrogant Amphibians (Season 9, Round 5). Will we see a repetition of their last game Blue Bay Rollers - Arrogant Amphibians (Season 3, round 1) where the rollers won 0-2 1-6 (0-0) or their first? 1-3 0-3 (0-1) Arrogant Amphibians - Blue Bay Rollers (Season 2, round 4)
