Match notes
Only 34 000 fans came to watch what could be game of the season for Toastwood Treehuggers. What a game, what a game!

The elves elected to receive the ball in the nice summer evening. The hulking chaos team was ready to catch- and kick the glee out of the prancing elves. But they were beaten to it! An enraged fan throw a rock before the bloodshed even begun, nailing Fillim Dayspring in the back of his head killing him dead on the spot!

Not about to be outdone by some measly fan, Black Thuldan tore into Sprucetrunk making sure he took no part in the game at all.

Slakthus 7 forgot about the ball though, and Toastwood Treehuggers had a chance to steal it. Alas Lyrid Mistdancer got tripped up by a beastman and somehow landed in a pile of razorblades. The apothecary tried to save his live but he bled to death in a manner of seconds.

More violence ensues and the elves have four casualties against them by their turn 3. They still hold their own for a while, and then Cyred Birchsinger made a truly heroic play!

Denego Oaksinger popped to ball loose, and Cyred picked it up from between three beastmen like he was walking in the park. After that he simply ran away! Malach ma-Havet tried to get him down but it could not be done. With a final leap Cyred Birchsinger jumped the beastman and gave the elves a 1-0 lead for the first half!

Toastwood Treehuggers was now severely outnumbered, but still managed to pick up the ball despite another thrown rock, this time at Cyred Birchsinger. With a heroic wrestle move by Kermus Waterfall into the smelly tentacle mess that is Black Thuldan the ball carrier was free and the elves made their way along the sideline, loosing it briefly but once again Cyred Birchsinger got it back and managed to score 2-0 for the prancing ponies... er, elves.

So 5 turns and 1 reroll left for the chaos. They could theoretically tie, but it would be a long shot. The 5 defending elves made a decent attempt to stop the drive, but the chaos touchdown came in turn 6 when Kesef had to run the ball into the endzone despite his ring of teleportation.

It was now that disaster truly struck for the elves. Not one of the four knocked out players recovered. Perhaps it was the flatulence of the beastmen in the neighbouring dugout? This meant that there was only 2 elves left on the pitch!

Just when things could not get worse for the elves Slakthus 7 managed a flawless blitz! The few remaining elves got totally surrounded and even Denego Oaksinger could not stop the inevitable 2-2 touchdown.

Three dead elves and one with a Serious Concussion, But still, they got a tie right?!
