Match notes
THE VERMILLION VERMIN FINALLY VICTORIOUS.

SALZENMUND. It seems the people can't get enough of the Vermin as more than three times as many fans came to see the skaven than the Human team as The Vermillion Vermin won their first game since their surprising return. "We are finally getting back into our stride again" said Vermin team captain Opus Fluke after the game. He continued: "Our lines are still a bit week and the Humans played well, but by the power of the Horned Rat we were victorious".

The game started with the the Vermin kicking the ball to U-Man. But the Human team had initially a hard time breaking through the Skaven who formed a strong defensive line. The Human team were forced to change flank and eventually broke through and catcher Falex Erguson could score the game's first touchdown.
The Vermin were quick to respond as they did a quick push along the sideline, thrower Phleg O'Possum passed the ball to gutter runner Splint Sparrowmarsh who almost miraculously dodged through the UMan defence to tie the game.

After the following kickoff, the UMan team advanced quickly trying to beat the clock and end the first half in the lead. They broke through on the right flank, and were all set up with talanted thrower George Best holding the ball, ready to throw it into waiting hands. But a filthy gutter runner managed to sneak through and stood close to the reciever. And even though he was knocked away catcher Falex Erguson was scratching himself as if he had a terrible itch and missed the incoming pass and the time was up...

The second half started with the Vermin recieving, and some people claim they started early as they seemed to be crossing the centre line before the ball even landed. After that the play was almost identical to the Vermin's first touch down, the team broke through the left flank, thrower Phleg O'Possum retrieved the ball, passed it to Splint Sparrowmarch who again did a near impossible rush between the sideline and two UMan defenders to put the Vermin in the lead, 2-1.

Next, the the Vermin kicked the ball and before UMan could really get their attackers into position, thrower Gearge Best fumbled as he tried to pick up the ball. Quickly this mistake was capitalised on by gutter Splint Sparrowmarsh, who snatched up the ball, handed it off to fellow gutter Sephril Sorrowkill who could dash into the endzone, extending the skaven lead to 3-1!

Next, George Best again fumbled the pickup, wasting precious time as his team pushed to close the gap on the score board. After the ball was retrieved, they moved up the field. The skaven, missing two of their best blocking players had a hard time resisting and even the gutter runners were forced to act as road blocks. This almost proved fatal as thrower George Best threw the ball to Bevid Deckham, who caught the ball, blitzed Slint Sparrowmarsh so bad he was sent out on a stretcher and then proceeded to score a touchdown. Which turned out to be the last of the game. After the next kickoff, the Vermin played unnecissarily risky, leading to the Humans almost being able to score before the gutter runners could get the ball out of reach for the Humans and the game ended with Vermin 3, UMan 2.
